Yaounde Photo Network (YPN) is an independent Cameroonian platform dedicated to photography and lens-based art practices. Launched in September 2016 as an online project, alongside YaPhoto pilot programme, YPN supports and showcases works by Cameroonian and locally-based photographers and video artists, through a number of activities and initiatives that include exhibitions, screenings, professional encounters, research, workshops and various public events held both in Cameroon and internationally. YPN website also aims to share information related to photography, news, events, and opportunities. Yaounde Photo Network ambitions to foster a creative dialogue between Cameroonian and international practitioners.
